I am a litigating lawyer practising primarily in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and the National Company Law Tribunals. I enrolled as an Advocate in 2016 and since graduation, have been an active law practitioner in the subject area of insolvency law, civil and commercial writ petitions, criminal appeals, regular second appeals in civil matters, and regular and anticipatory bails. I am also empaneled with MARKFED, MILKFED and Dept of Local Government Punjab.
Amidst the toll of daily work, I hope to keep up my engagement with the fascinating way of law being at the centre of our lives. I earlier contributed to Law in the Midst @blogspot and have written papers for various legal journals like Journal of Business Law, AIR, SCC, EPW, Statute Law Review, Company Law Journal, Criminal Law Journal, Indian Journal of Criminology and Criminalistics.
In 2020, I authored an extensive legal commentary on “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code – Law and Practice” which was published by EBC Publications. The same is available at EBC Webstore here.
I am also a Visiting Lecturer at NUJS, Kolkata and taught a credit course on “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code – Legal Regime in India”.
